Terms of Use

1. Estimates only
The figures our calculators produce are indicative estimates based on typical Australian pricing and the details you enter. They are not quotes, valuations, or professional, financial, medical, legal or tax advice, and should not be relied on as such. Always confirm with a qualified provider before making a decision.
2. No guarantee of accuracy
Pricing changes constantly and varies by location, supplier and circumstances. We make no warranty that any estimate is accurate, current or suitable for your situation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
3. Enquiries
If you submit an enquiry, you consent to your details being sent to the relevant business so they can contact you. Whether and how they respond is up to them; we are not party to any agreement you reach with them.
4. Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Don’t attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or misuse the embedded calculators or lead forms.
5. Intellectual property
The calculators, content and software are owned by Going Rate or its licensors. Businesses who purchase a build receive a licence to embed their commissioned calculator on their own website; the underlying engine and library remain ours.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Going Rate is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on an estimate or from your dealings with a business you were connected to. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
